BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – The struggle in Ukraine has been happening for greater than two weeks. We have now heard heartbreaking tales of loss and galvanizing tales of power. And one native enterprise proprietor was impressed by these tales to assist.
Rhonda Coch-McCoy, proprietor of Punky’s Bathtub and Present Store in downtown Bismarck, felt compelled to do one thing to assist the folks of Ukraine. She reached out on Fb and was put in contact with Little Odessa, a retailer that has shut connections to the war-torn nation. She determined to donate 50% of the proceeds from tub merchandise, candles and scrubbies bought. She is hoping her small store can do one thing to assist even one or two folks.
“We’re such a small enterprise so I do know we are able to’t assist lots of people however simply with the little effort that we’re capable of put forth and the donations that we’re going to offer I hope it helps one or two folks and simply makes a small distinction,” stated Coch-McCoy.
After speaking with the house owners of Little Odessa she stated she realizes that despite the fact that the struggle is occurring far-off it’s being felt proper right here.

Coch-McCoy says that though she runs a small retailer, compounded efforts from different shops like hers could make a distinction. She is providing a problem to different small companies to hunt out methods to lift cash or assist these hurting in Ukraine.
