Pixar together with nods – previous, current, and future – to its films is nothing new. Monsters Inc had Boo holding Nemo from Discovering Nemo, Toy Story 4 features a sneaky reference to Up, and just about each single one in all Pixar’s classics has the Pizza Planet truck tucked away in there someplace.
Its newest launch, Turning Pink, isn’t any totally different – and you may even see an Easter egg to the upcoming Lightyear, starring Chris Evans because the titular spaceman-turned-space-toy.
Talking to Display screen Rant about Turning Pink’s many, many Easter eggs, director Domee Shi stated, “Yeah, they’re all there. Yeah, all of the traditional ones: Pizza Planet Truck, Luxo Ball, A113’s in there. Additionally, each Pixar movie has an Easter Egg that may be a nod to the subsequent movie developing. So there is a Lightyear Easter egg.”
