We offer either a whole or half lamb and our brilliant butcher Johntie will prepare the meat to your requirements. Pedigree Black Welsh Lambs are relatively small, between kilos and so, once butchered will fit into the freezer space of most domestic fridges. Black Welsh Lamb , hogget and mutton is available to order, cut and packed, ready for the freezer. Camilla and Roly bought their family and flock to Sussex from Oxfordshire in 2013 to take on the 450-acre National Trust owned Saddlescombe farm at Devil’s Dyke.
Once you receive your order simply pop it into your fridge or freezer. For best results use fresh meat within 3 days or freeze on day of purchase for up to 3 months. Always thaw meat thoroughly before cooking and do not re-freeze once thawed. Our Diced Mutton offers a great introduction to just how good our heritage breed meat is. Half or whole lambs need to be ordered as they are cut to your specifications, and the meat is hung for at least 10 days. Based in Banffshire we provide fresh, high quality, healthy, Scottish goat meat direct to your door. Our goats are grass fed and free to roam around outside, with shelters for protection from the wind and rain. We only bring them inside in the winter months and are fed on haylage made by ourselves and we buy in feed from a local manufacturer only 2 miles away.
The end product is superb, giving big meaty chops and joints that are so tender if slow cooked overnight. Our freezer packs can be ordered from both our Scalloway and Lerwick shops. We have different pack sizes available with a variety of products including sausages, sausagemeat and mince. Please get in touch for more information on sizes and varieties of freezer packs. Mutton chops are a fantastic alternative to lamb loin chops as they have much more depth of flavour. they are also great in a curry if you want the flavour of the bone. Our goat loin chops are marinated in an olive oil based marinade with coriander, oregano, and thyme with garlic black pepper and lemon zest. Alternatively why not have them plain and do your own version.

We encourage customers to reserve their lamb, hogget and mutton boxes early as demand always outstrips supply. One fully butchered lamb takes up about one and a half shelves in an average upright freezer and will be cut to your requirements. Your meat will then be couriered fresh, direct to your door. The beef, lamb, mutton and hogget are 100% grass fed and carry the “Pasture for life” logo, providing reassurance of nutrient quality and traceability amongst a world of misleading “grass fed meat” products.
Free-Range Chicken & Poultry Our free-range chicken birds are slow-grown and live for twice as long as supermarket varieties. The chickens are exceptionally active which helps to produce healthy and naturally lean meat. Farm & Fork is built on a passion for farming happy, free to roam animals and producing premium quality meat. Our mutton is full of flavour and is best served slow cooked. We try and accommodate any other butchery requirements you may have. If you want a whole or half lamb in one piece for spit roasting, we can do that too, although that’s collection only because we can’t get hold of suitable boxes large enough to courier them.
Our organic grass fed mutton is certified both organic and 100% pasture fed meaning they haven’t received any grains. Meat from 100% grass fed animals is known to be higher in a range of minerals and vitamins. It’s also richer in anti-oxidants than grain fed meat.
We sell our 100% pasture fed, slow grown, pure Welsh Mountain Badger Face, Whiteface Dartmoor and Herdwick lamb, hogget and mutton that produces medium sized delicious carcases direct to you, the customer. Our sheep graze on our culm grassland and wildflower meadows and grow naturally with no concentrated feedstuffs, which improves both the taste and the texture of the meat. The slow approach extends to the hanging of the carcases for 14 days which further enhances the flavour and tenderness. Whole and half lamb boxes are available in season, in September and October, Mutton in September and October and Hogget in May.
